Lines: 39 Has anybody out there ported GNU-Emacs to 3b2/3b5/3b20 machines. I am having a rough time with it. The address space for 3b's have the high order bit turned on. GNU-emacs seems to use pointers, and integers interchangebly, assuming that only the low order 24 bits of the pointer are used. The XINT macro in xlisp.h seems to be the one that is causing all the problems. I do have it paritally working, but it is very flaky. If anybody has already gone thru fixing these bugs, I would deeply appreceate getting a copy of GNU-Emacs. Thanks in advance Narayan Mohanram PS. I have tried using NO_UNION to be defined with an appropriate structure for the Lisp_Objects. This only seems to make things worse. -- Narayan Mohanram Phone: 415-962 7170 ARPANET wg3b20!narayan@lll-tis-b.ARPA Usenet ihnp4!{amdahl,pesnta}!wg3b20!narayan Mail The Wollongong Group 1129 San Antonio Road Palo Alto, CA 94303.
