Carolina, Chapel Hill Lines: 48 Xref: watmath net.graphics:1822 net.jobs:2612 *** REPLACE THIS LINE WITH YOUR MESSAGE *** ------------ We are looking for someone to help us develop a new product for spatial and geometric computing (graphics, imaging, finite element analysis,3D (voxel) medical imaging, molecular modeling,CSG operations,etc.). We have started up with enough seed capital to ensure a reasonable salary for a reasonable time. We are currently talking with several venture capital firms to secure additional funding. The product is a very high performance applications accelerator with multiple bit-slice type integer and floating point processors, a VERY WIDE instruction word, and a VERY LARGE multiple access memory. We need someone to take on responsibility for system level software tools - driver, programming/debugging environment, and a C compiler (with extensions). Experience with software for bit-slice machines, graphics systems, etc. are a big plus. What we offer is one heck of an exciting time. We are ordering SUN 3/160C machines for development (our product will slide into a SUN backplane). We can pay a decent salary and a piece of the company (stock options) and the opportunity to do interesting and rewarding work. We've started a successful business before and have developed successful state-of-the-art- products. If you're interested and qualified, please write, call, or email.
