Simple question. Message-ID: <635@bcsaic.UUCP> Date: Mon, 4-Aug-86 11:44:07 EDT Article-I.D.: bcsaic.635 Posted: Mon Aug 4 11:44:07 1986 Date-Received: Thu, 7-Aug-86 06:24:58 EDT Distribution: net Organization: Boeing Computer Services AI Center, Seattle Lines: 21 My brother is starting to play around with programming and has a TI 99/4A. He would like to output to the printer but something is not working. I believe that the problem is software related. He is using the BASIC that comes with the machine. The documentation is abysmal. What I am requesting is that somebody will e-mail me an example two lines of code that open the printer as a device and send something to it. We've tried about every combination of commas, semi-colons, and quotations that we could think of. It goes something like this... 10 open #1 "pio" 20 print #1 "this is to be printed" Thanks in advance. -- ** MY VIEWS MAY NOT BE IDENTICAL TO THOSE OF THE BOEING COMPANY ** Doug Schuler (206) 865-3228 {allegra,ihnp4,decvax}uw-beaver!uw-june!bcsaic!douglas bcsaic!douglas@uw-june.arpa
