In case you haven't read a review on it, it comes with 512K RAM, one 3 1/2 inch 720KB drive, 80x25 LCD, parallel printer port, RGB and composite video outputs (!!), external floppy drive port (for 5 1/4 or 3 1/2, but not both), full size keyboard with raised dots on the "f" and "j" keys, 8 hour battery, AC/DC adapter, *nice* carrying case, 90 warranty, MS-DOS 2.11, well-written manuals, and mine came with Ready!, an outline processor, from Toshiba itself for free ($99.95 value). I also got the 5 1/4 drive so that I could transfer my stuff to the 3 1/2 inch format. Which I did with no problems. I copied Lotus 123, MS Jet and Managing Your Money (went from three 5 1/4 disks to one 3 1/2 with the data files loaded onto the ramdisk!) to the smaller format - I have to run Copyiipc's "nokey" before they'll load, but that's what batch files are for. As a matter of fact, I haven't found anything that won't run on the T1100, and I've been trying! By the way, if you ever come up with a program that just won't copy to 3 1/2 inch format, you can leave it in the external 5 1/4 drive, flick a switch on the rear of the T1100 next to the ext. floppy port, and boot from the external drive! That's convenient. I got mine from S 'n W Electronics & Appliances in Brooklyn (1-800-223-6779) for $1350. 5 1/4 drive was $349. I ordered with a deposit on my MasterCard and the balance C.O.D. and got it in ten days. ("I've no connection with 'em other than as a reasonably satisfied customer.") Last note: I saw a mini-review for the new Bondwell 8. It supposedly has all of the above plus a serial port-300 baud modem-clock/calendar ($189 from S 'n W for the T1100) and a backlit LCD (not available for the T1100). It's retail is $1595! That's definitely worth looking into, also. Hope this all helps! Keith
