One written in BASIC would be acceptable, performance is not an issue. It is needed for development on code to be downloaded to a Z80 driven smart peripheral controller (ATR8000) serving an 8 bit Atari. Since the ATR8000 also runs CP/M, I have used M80 up to now, but the transfer process between the two modes is too tedious for simple, small code sections. I would also be able to port an assembler based on Ron Cain's small C compiler.
