Mostly they were the usual new '86 family stuff which I won't bore you with. The BIG news is the New Color Computer! Yes, it's 128K (base, expandable to 512K), yes, it's CoCo 2 compatible both in software and hardware, (with Level 2 capability to support memory beyond the 64K barrier), yes, it's 80 Column * 24 lines on the screen, yes, it shows 640 * 192 pixels (4 colors out of 64 in high res.), yes it has dual clock speeds of.87 and 1.7 mHz, BUT, the price? -> $219.00 <- (Take that Atari and Commodore!) for an entry level system. What people who don't know OS-9 are not mentally prepared for in this announcement is: We already have the Application Software! -- James Omura, Barrister & Solicitor, Toronto ihnp4!utzoo!lsuc!jimomura Byte Information eXchange: jimomura (416) 652-3880
