Here is the question: Any problems? I was originally having problems rarely. Twice the disks had crashed and needed to be reformatted. Sometimes it wouldn't reformat, not being able to verify the highest tracks (up near 39). I though that it might be pos- sible that the drive was overheating, but that turned out not to be the case. It just got worse and worse. I finally had to change the devs: file called "mountlist" It turned out that if I set it to only go to 39 columns it was not so bad. But that is now. What is going to happen in the next few weeks? I only get a 90 day warrenty, I can't tell if it is the disk or the software. I don't seem to have this problem with IBM mode, but then it don't try to put 440K on that disk. Please, please, please... someone who knows... should I take the drive back? Is this supposed to happen this way? As always, thanks, good to have this forum around. -- ============================================================================== ....I disclaim everything, I had nothing to do with it, it's not my fault!....
