I leave Emacs in memory and run make through it. That is where the Amiga shines; multitasking allows you to leave all your major programs around where you can get them. Of course, if the machine crashes, that's a different story. 1.2 beta 6 is great; my programs work under it! Still need Manx to fix the compiler for it, though . . . -tom
