Summary: Can not get it to run with Aztec C

I compiled MicroEmacs 3.7, which just came across in mod.sources, using
Aztec C (I refuse to return to using Lattice).  Unfortunately the resulting
program bombs my machine.  Is there anybody else that has tried this?

I did notice that it was necessary to compile with the -Z4000 option in order
to get enough space for string storage.  (The default is -Z2000, so I just
doubled it.)
