	Hello everyone - I'm hoping that some of you will have some ideas
on how to help us.  My twelve year old boy is having a great deal of
difficulty in spelling.  He reads at the 8th or 9th grade level, but spells
at the 4th or 5th.  We homeschooled him for 3 years and pretty much let him
guide where the learning would go - hence the disparity.  This was in fact
a good thing since before we took him out of school the teachers were starting
to say that he was learning disabled and would have a very hard time ever
learning to read.  Well, now that his reading is well ahead of track, the
spelling problem is starting to really hold him back (he wants to be a writer!).
Any suggestions on materials, programs (we have an Apple II+), or other
techniques that we can use to help him better his spelling will be greatly
appreciated.  Please respond by mail to me, and if there is enough interest
expressed I will post the results to the net.  Thanks in advance!
