Dobbs) Organization: Naval Ocean Systems Center, San Diego Lines: 14 I recently downloaded hack for the ST from net.sources.games. Unfortunately, my 13 year old daughter is now on my back because she can't get below level 3. The problem is the version of hack that was posted requires double sided disk drives. I only have two single sided drives. There is a cure for this listed in the README file of hack, but it requires a file that ends with .env This is supposed to set an environment variable to allow for two single sided drives. Hack didn't come with this file. Is it part of a shell program or just something I missed? I really don't want to buy a d/s drive just to get Heather off my back :-) The Navy -- not just a job. its an adventure.
