First Problems (I couldn't start programs which were sited on the harddisk) were solved by changing the GLUE-Chip of my ATARI to a newer version (seemed to be a timing problem). Like that it worked quite well with one exception: Every couple of days it happens, that a file on the harddisk cannot be read. The message "No response from drive C, check connections ..., cancel or retry" appears every time you want to read, copy or even delete this file. The problem never arrives during writing, but always with existing files. The only solution is to reformat or zero the hard disk. I tried a little bit with a ATARI 1040 ST and it seems to me that this problem doesn't arrive there or it arrives at least less often. So the problem might be a timing problem may be also of the ATARI? Have you heard about similar problems and/or know possible solutions?
