Well actually, the atari buletin board is five numbers:

(408) 745-5308
         -5970
         -2642
         -4758
         -5664

each of which connects you to a different line.

     You get a different login number for each line you manage to connect
to, and although the download database is shared, the message databases are
not.

     What makes it fun is that the lines are on a roter, so that you don't
necessarily get the line you call. . .
