I already have personal pascal and the ABACUS books, so I don't know that I need the documentation in the developers kit; especially if the book in December is reasonably cheap. I do need a full K&R implemenation, since I will be moving some large codes which use most of the language features. I'm also a Unix hack, so a system with CC/Make would be nice. (I would also like a nice GEM interface like OSS Pascal :-) As I understand it, the choices are Lattice C at around 150$, MegaMax C at around 200$ and the developers kit at 300$. I would be interested in comparisons of the three systems, in particular as to compiler speed, completeness and robustness. If you reply directly to me, I will summarize. Thanks in advance.
