I have a friend who is thinking of buying the 520 or 1040 to bring to Germany
with him.  He was wondering what the machine would need, i.e. in the way of
step-down transformers.  If anyone has any experience using an ST bought in
the US in Germany/Europe, I'd like to hear how the machine holds out.
