As many netters are likely to tell you, advertisements, product
announcements, and other such hype are not to be posted to the net in
general.  There is a newsgroup where this is appropriate, mod.newprod.
Since it is a moderated newsgroup, the noise level is low, which keeps the
net from turning into a medicine show.  Please read net.announce.newusers
