By and large, I am real happy with it; However, the following deficiencies may be bothersome: 1) The object module format is not COFF, and doesn't have FLEXNAMES (>8 character identifiers are unique). This is a real problem if you would like to use some of the newer software (like c++, etc). 2) There is no large model compiler, just small and medium. Again, a problem with some newer software. 3) There is no support for the EGA. Text mode works OK, but if you try to do graphics, you get a blank screen. Still, a good package, and I believe the above things "are coming". The compiler itself *is better* than XENIX's in generating small model code. Personally, I'm getting real interested in Microports version of UNIX, and will probably load it up on my second disk to do a side by side evaluation. Rick Richardson, PC Research, Inc.
