Lines: 14 From: prindle@NADC Hi, Once again, C1571.COM (for C128 CP/M with 1571 drives) does something strange. The latest version (downloaded from Compuserve - the one that DOES work with MFM diskettes) was used by a friend who has 2 1571 drives, one purchased recently, the other purchased back in October or so. When C1571 is run, he gets the message "CHANNEL ERROR 02H" when he tries it on one of the drives, but it works ok on the other. It is not a function of which drive is A: and which is B: - the problem tracks the physical drive. Yet the drive otherwise works ok! Any clues on this one? Sincerely, Frank Prindle Prindle@NADC.arpa
