For some strange reason the Mac isn't remembering I have Apple Talk connected after I turn it off. So when I turn it back on, I have to reset AppleTalk on the control panel. At which point if I don't do a shutdown or a reset and try to use the LW, I get the preciously mentioned Error;Undefined;Offending Command... crap. My work around (if you can call it that) 1: set apple talk connected via control panel 2: Use Chooser, select IW then reselect LW 3: shutdown through finder special menu 4: go for it... Pain in the rear if you ask me... BTW: I'm using System 3.2, Finder 5.3, and LW3.1... =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Malcolm Duncan Krannert Executive Education Purdue University UUCP: ...ihnp4!pur-ee!pur-phy!kran!wmd and Duncan Communications Bulletin Board System 3 lines, 24 hours, 7 days a week.
