As background information, I have a 512K (upgraded from 128K a la Dr. Dobbs) Mac with the "ROM-Disk" upgrade (an "Enhanced" 512k?). - Does anyone on the net have a Levco SCSI port installed on an "Enhanced" 512K Mac? Does it require the purchase of a "Monster Mac" board first? Is it REALLY the same as the Mac+ SCSI port? - About "Monster Mac" boards - do they use plain old 256Kx1 DRAMs in 16 pin DIPs? I'd like to be able to get a meg from them now and upgrade to 2meg later. - Where can I get documentation on the built-in debugger in the new ROMs? I get a window when I press interrupt, but no response to ANYTHING I type in. - What resources in the 3.1.1 system file can I safely remove with RESEDIT? Since 3.1.1 worked on my 512K Mac BEFORE I got the new ROMs, I assume that there MUST be stuff that is duplicated in the system file, and I'd like to reclaim the space. Thanks in advance and all that - please mail responses to: -- Jerry Callen Intermetrics, Inc. 733 Concord Ave Cambridge, Ma 02138 ...ihnp4!inmet!ada-uts!callen (617) 641-3102 (home)
