(NY, NY) Lines: 23 >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Is it possible for the mac to drive a daisy wheel printer? I am in the process of purchasing a Mac+. Plans are to use it mainly for word processing, graphics and as a terminal(at least at first, more sophistic- ated uses to follow). I have access to a laserwriter via the VAX here at work, (I have the package for converting to postscript), but my wife is in graduate school and sometimes needs letter quality print (not NLQ) in a hurry, which puts the imagewriter out. On related topics: 1. How difficult is it to convert file formats Mac>ascii and ascii>Mac? 2. What is the BEST word processor availeable for the Mac? I'm used to EMACS while my wife is spoiled (access to a Wang word processor at work). Please send mail. If I get enough replies to question 2 I'll summarize to the net.
