This is primarily third-party developer relations -- books, software, hardware, etc. He had about 6 people working for him but apparently he was really good. The fact that it mentions Guy Kawasaki seems no coincidence, since I believe Guy had that job 1.5 years ago and was promoted to the next highest job. I understand Guy called up the sponsors and asked if they would be interested in sharing the cost of the ad.
