Thanks very much to all who responded to my query.  The favorite suggestion
was BEST Computer Supplies in San Jose, California (1-800-351-BEST), and their
prices seem about the best.

In my haste, I called all the places listed in the current edition of MacUser
and found the best price at MacStore in Texas (1-800-847-0026).  I bought
200 DS/DD (bulk) Sony diskettes for $1.75/ea plus shipping.  Since I was in
a hurry, I ordered 2-day delivery, which brought the total cost to $1.8375/ea.
The diskettes come in unlabeled boxes of 50, two boxes of 50 packed in
a cardboard box bearing the Sony label.  Service was excellent; the diskettes
arrived before I had time to hunt up the number and call to see if they were
on the way!
