According to what I've heard the new 800k drives have their own speed adjustments so they don't need the mac to regulate it. Well the speed regulation is part of the sound generation, they are a stream of 16bit values 8 bits for disk speed 8 bits for sound. So my question is what is involved in making a stereo mac? Am I wrong in some my observations? I really don't know hardware but it seems like everything you need is there. -- Lance Keashly New Media Technologies Ltd. ..decvax!microsoft!ubc-vision!winston!keashly ..ihnp4!alberta!ubc-vision!winston!keashly #108 4664 Lougheed Highway Burnaby, B.C., Canada, V5C 5T5 (604) 291-7111
