My question is, do you guys know of problems with the >company/product? > > sid@linus I haven't had many dealings with the company itself (and I am considering purchasing their machine for the company I work for), but in the June 30, 1986 issue of FidoNews (available on your local FIDO bulletin board), there is an article about a VERY unhappy PC's Limited customer. It seems he purchased a hard drive from them, which failed. He sent it back, only to have it come back DOA. After getting another RA (wow; lot of acronyms!) from the company, he sent it back. A long period of time passed without his receiving his drive, and repeated letters and calls to the company elicited no response. So at the time of his 'warning letter' via the FIDO network, he had essentially lost the $700 he spent on the hard disk, not to mention not even having the drive itself.
