I bought a "100% Hercul*s compatible" graphics card for my home- made clone. Imagine my pleasure when I find that the driver to switch modes for the flinking thing was not included. I called customer support and they told me they were sorry, but they only had versions for DOS 2.X, not 3.X (I don' unnerstand) anyhow, is there anyone out there with a routine (C preferred) (BASIC second, ASM third) that will let me control the modes on my card ? I know the thing works fine 'cuz the device drivers for some of my CAD programs trigger it and it looks nice, but this kind of fiddling on the edge of hardware/software is beyond me. thanks in advance. mjr. -- P-) (matters related to software pirates) *All opinions expressed aren't even mine, let alone those of Gould, Inc.*
