It looks like a reasonable, although slightly dated machine that is currently selling at large discounts. Second, both my son and Jerry Pournelle (BYTE, August 1986 column) have indicated that the USAF Academy, Colorado Springs, CO, will be issuing Zenith Z-248 PCs (NOT Z-100!!). I don't have any information about Z-248 in my copy of the Heathkit catalog. SOOO- Does anyone have any feedback re: the Zenith Z-248 PC, supposedly an IBM PC-AT clone, that they would be willing to share either with me, or with the net?
