View, CA Lines: 21 The PRINT command that comes with PC-DOS is real nice, but it has one deficiency: it has no method of printing a file and waiting for more data to be put into that file. What I need is a print spooler that will: 1. Start printing a file, and if the file is not completely written yet (perhaps flagged with a non-standard EOF marker), wait until more data has been appended to the file. 2. Support more than one spooled device. This is to say, have files spooled to a serial port, and have other files spooled to a parallel port. I have heard vague rumors about a spooler sold by Persyst or Emulex that does both of these. Anyone have any firsthand information on the subject? Feel free to followup rather than sending E-mail, since this is probably a general interest topic. Clayton E. Cramer
