If your system doesn't get mod.map, or if you already looked there and didn't get an answer, then it's different. For the guy asking about machines at Penn State, three machines are listed: gondor (Vax 780), psuvax1 (Vax 780 on BITNET), and shire (Vax 750). All run 4.2BSD.
