This may be old hat, since I haven't read this newsgroup a lot lately,
but users at our site are running into troubles with addresses that look
like
     machine.university.edu.uucp
or
     something5.bitnet.uucp

These addresses are of course wrong, and this comes from sloppy installation
of the news software. Will all administrators not on uucp check whether
they installed news correctly.
This has something to do with setting the DFLTDOMAIN define or something
close to that. I haven't got the sources at hand.
