Yesterday at 5 PM local time (naturally) the air conditioning went
out in the room holding umcp-cs (a.k.a mimsy.umd.edu).  The
resulting heat evaporated all the bits in /usr/spool.  The file
system was restored as of the last dump, which was about a day out
of date.  Any spooled mail or UUCP traffic was lost; old spooled
data may have reappeared and been re-sent.
