I didn't think anyone had actively pursued this until I discovered a Dec '79 issue of IEEE Computer. In this issue, there is an "Open Channel" letter describing the OSA (and RSPL) project. If anyone has any references to OSA or RSPL (Reliable Software Production Language) -- or to subject of "communication protocol software generation from specifications" -- I'd appreciate hearing from you. The OSA project was (at least in Dec '79) being done at Technische Universitat Berlin Institut fur Software und Theoretische Informatik Thanks much.
