What I'd like to change is the way in which the subsidy is distributed. The idea behind the voucher system is to let the people decide which schools deserve support, rather than having the decision made by bureaucrats and self-interested special-interest groups. I don't see any other way to "cut the Gordian knot" of red-tape and inefficiency that exists in the public school systems I am familar with.
