Well, I finally got around to uudecoding the arc.exe program that was
distributed here a long while ago.   Everything appeared to work fine
and the file even begins with the 0x4d, 0x5a bytes that .exe files are
supposed to have.  But when I run it on my system (AT&T PC-6300, MS-DOS
2.11) it just hangs.  Any ideas?

The decoded file is 32051 bytes long.
