As I am not currently and owner of a Mac, I would appreciate some pointers from the net. The system that I am considering is: Mac+ (1M, built in 880K drive) Imagewriter II External drive (880K) a C development system (comments regarding this system would be appreciated). I have been looking through ads in magazines, newspapers, etc, and am becoming a bit bewildered by the prices offered. What I would like to know is: How much did you get your system for, and where did you get it? If you got it through mail order, how long was the wait? What C compiler (and debugger, hopefully) do you reccomend? (I have heard some things about 'Aztec C' and some others, but no-one I know is doing development, so I know nothing about the features of the different systems). How much should I expect to spend to get the system and documentation that I will need to get started? Please respond to: wedgwood@ucbvax.Berkeley.EDU or ...!ucbvax!wedgwood Thanks for any info. -wedge-
