Xref: watmath can.jobs:83 uw.cgl:45 There is a strong possibility of one or more Research Associate jobs becoming available at the National Research Council of Canada for research in colour. These are two year jobs under regular NRC conditions of employment to do research in colour. Current projects in colour at NRC include: colorimetric calibration of self-luminous displays, investigation of colour coding in the human nervous system, colour reproduction, and using colour for information display. Potential candidates for such a position would be people with recent graduate degrees who wish to gain research experience in the areas of research mentioned above or people in industrial positions who wish to spend a year or two learning about or expanding their knowledge of colour. Anyone interested in finding out more information about these positions should immediately contact William Cowan at: (613)993-9655 Division of Physics, National Research Council of Canada, Ottawa, Ontario, Canada, K1A 0R6. wbcowan@watcgl
