Message-ID: <8608120237.AA05137@seismo.CSS.GOV> Date: Mon, 11-Aug-86 23:05:51 EDT Article-I.D.: seismo.8608120237.AA05137 Posted: Mon Aug 11 23:05:51 1986 Date-Received: Tue, 12-Aug-86 10:16:37 EDT Sender: daemon@ucbvax.BERKELEY.EDU Organization: The ARPA Internet Lines: 21 Approved: info-pyramid@mimsy.umd.edu I'm investigating the feasability of connecting the Pyramid 90x in our Comp. Sci. dept. to the DECnet network in the Computer Centre here at Uni. of New England. The DECnet network consists of two DECsystem-2060's and a microVax II connected via Ethernet. It is desirable to have external students access the Pyramid via the national packet network (AUSTPAC). The packet network is connected to the microVax via PSI software on a KMV1A comms. card. I envisage having to connect the Pyramid 90x to the Vax PSI system (with X.25 onto a KMV1A card) or directly onto the ethernet. Has anyone put such a system together already? Thanks for any help.
