Can anybody give me an approximate description of a Ridge 110? I'm interested in: price (assume it is configured with a 100mb disk drive and a 9-track tape; plus software), floating point performance (floating point number crunching will be the primary application), expansion/upgrade options, support, general user satisfaction, etc. How does it compare, let's say, to a MicroVAX II? Also, I heard that Ridge sells its own FORTRAN compiler. Anyone know anything about this? Please reply directly to me. Thanks very much..Yoram Arpanet: yoram@cs.columbia.edu Usenet: seismo!columbia!cs!yoram BITnet: yoram%cs.columbia.edu@WISCVM P.S. Does anyone know where Ridge is located, so I can look up their phone number?
