Cost, etc? DEC is suing Emulex for patent infringements, claiming that their MSCP- compatible products violate DEC's patent on MSCP. An article in the July 21 _Digital_Review_, pp. 91-92, seems to refer only to disk controllers, not storage products, in its discussion of the legal issue, but it is not entirely clear. Does anybody know whether DEC might sue SI over its disk drives?
