It seems under V4.4 of VMS if you have an ambiguous symbol definition the SPAWN command (also Lib$Spawn) will fail with " Improperly handled condition, bad stack or no handler specified." followed by a stack dump. No one reported this error at our site until we got everyone on V4.4, so I am not sure if it happens on earlier version or not. I'm submitting an SPR on the problem... Ray
