Lines: 24 For whoever asked about circuitry for a heart-rate monitor: While I agree that an LED finger- or earlobe-pulse detector is the easiest way to go, I did find a cicuit for an EKG signal heart-rate monitor. (By the way, Sears and others have small portable LED pulse monitors, some of which are quite small and compact for use during running.) In a Motorola CMOS handbook from some years ago, there is a block diagram and schematic for a battery powered EKG rate monitor. If you are still interested, write me and I can send you a copy. -Dave -- ==================================================================== David Robins, M.D. Smith-Kettlewell Eye Research Foundation (previously known as: Smith-Kettlewell Institute of Visual Sciences) 2232 Webster St; San Francisco CA 94115 415/561-1705 (voice) {ihnp4,qantel,dual}!ptsfa!ski!dr The opinions expressed herein do not reflect the opinion of the Institute!
