This is a nice theory.  I frequently wear a black leather jacket, leather
pants, black "biker" boots, a black helmet(*), and black gloves.  (So much
for the bright clothing they recommend for visibility)  They *still*
cut me off.  The only answer is to be ready to dodge (and never put yourself
where you have no place to dodge to).
