Thanks to all of you who responded to my inquiry.  Since responses are still
coming in it will be awhile until I post results to the net.

I should have mentioned that I have 15+ years experience as a programmer
(FORTRAN & Assembler).  I have done etensive work with database packages on
mainframes, but they have all bee either heirarchal (sp?) or network, not relational.
