Greetings!

    Has anyone compiled a list of GNU ports to date?  Something like that
would seem to be a great convenience as well as a quick reference.  If it
were similar to list of Kermit ports maintained at Columbia (which includes
ports in progress) it could allow people working on ports to see at a glance
if a port already exists or if others are already working on one.

    If something like this doesn't exist and others think this is of value,
I'd be willing to create such a list if I could be kept abreast of develop-
ments (via mail).
