As I say in the summary line, yeah, I got it up here...took less than what I really expected it to. The beastie is still in "test" here...once its had a little more of a shake-out I'll be sending the info to RMS. Basically all it took was: * A small do-nothing routine that contains the declare for data_start that's at the head of the object file list, * A reference to /lib/crt0.[whatever] prior to the data_start module * A little work in s-usg5.2.h and m-amdahl.h * A sign_extend routine that'll sign extend chars and 24-bit ints. I know this sound like a bit of work but I accomplished it in less than a week working only a couple-a hours a day on it. Even though I've got my disclaimer on the bottom here I feel that I should make the following point: I am *not* associated with UTS Development and am not making any official statements for Amdahl Corp...I'm just a l'il ole coder that happens to like UTS and, now, GNU EMACS. -- Tony Sumrall ...!{ihnp4,hplabs,seismo,sun}!amdahl!acs [ Opinions expressed herein are the author's and should not be construed to reflect the views of Amdahl Corp. ]
