Recently I had posted a request for information regarding BITNET access
via UUCP (USENET!). My sincere thanks to all those who responded. Hereunder
I have summarised the highlights of the responses.

Gateway between BITNET and UUCP is PSUVAX1 at Penn State Univ.

To mail from UUCP to BITNET user you have to reach PSUVAX1. From there
it is automatically taken care of provided you have the proper BITNET
address.

    ....!psuvax1!xxxxx.bitnet!yyyyy

    xxxxx  -> BITNET host
    yyyyy  -> User on the BITNET host

I have recently tried it. I am not sure if it really worked.
