I am particularly interested in real time drawing of characters on raster displays. The kind of algorithms that would inhabit terminals, personal computers and work stations. My main interrest is algorithms that will give esthetically nice but efficient rendering of a font despite various transformations such as translations, rotations (limited), reflections, and scalings. Currently the only reference I have is Knuths' Tex and Metafont book. If there is interrest and responses I will summarize to this news group. -- Barrie Kovish New Media Technologies ..decvax!microsoft!ubc-vision!winston!kovish ..ihnp4!alberta!ubc-vision!winston!kovish
