Since Commodore is not giving out anymore info on the Blitter than what is in the RKM, let me ask a more specific question: I'm controlling the blitter via assembly language/own-disown-wait-blitter routines/writing directly to the regs. etc. have the following 16 bit quantity: 0000000000001111 And a shift value of 3. I'm doing a direct copy from A to D. ($F0) The result of the blitter operation is: 1110000000000001. Is this what I should expect (or am I doing something wrong)? (I thought the blitter would be smart enough to do 2 16-bit writes, ie. 000000000000001 1110000000000000 I mean, that's what the RKM implies in the section on shifting) -- Standard disclaimer: The above opinions are my own and do not necessarily reflect those of my employers.
