I just want to get a hold of a full kermit implementation without sending a
disk.  If I have to downloaded, fine.  If I have to send for a disk, I that's
OK too (but I prefer the former).  I'd REALLY like the source emailed, but
that's not always practical.  Could your friend post to mod.sources?
