I am downloading to the Mac because it has a hard disk, using Xmodem with MacBinary checking turned off, then try to use Digital Link to send the file from the MAC to the Amiga. If I use XMODEM protocol on both sides, the file goes across without error but the Amiga will not run the program, saying it is not an object file. I have even tried using FIXOBJ on it with no success. If I set the Mac to Xmodem xfer, and the Amiga to Amiga Binary (Xmodem with first record describing resulting files), the transfer hangs on the last record every time, I can abort the xfer, but it never completes. Does anyone know the summary of how to download, file types on BBS systems what to do when the xfer is complete, etc. I would really appreciate the information Phil Hunt ..calma!sivax!phil
